This cosmetic filler company came with a problem of low turnover from their website. I was given the job of finding user pathways and restructuring the site with the end user in mind. This low income housing company came to us to design an identity that represented what they do. They wanted to allude to the "circle" part of their name. Using the F, I created a symbol that looked like a house within a big circle. While I accomplished the symbol of what they wanted, I had to pair it with a very streamline typeface to create a modern look to the brand.
This Asian inspired gallery in downtown Chicago wanted a website that shows how the inside of their store looks. I was a photographer on this project to create the look they were aiming for. With the beautiful spaces they created, capturing this was an easy task. I was then instructed to create the same look on a website. The client wanted the site to feel like you were in the store. With big scrolling panels of beautiful photography I achieved this Asian inspired look. On the shopping side of things I used a dark color to make the items pop off the page and create a unique look.
Sears Shop your Way wanted to redesign their website interface to excites users about their rewards program. I designed a fresh user interface by including bold photography and strong typefaces. Using best practices I created a landing page flow that entices users to keep reading and explore further.
The Italian Trade Agency was hosting an event for an architecture convention in Chicago. In need of event material we designed a poster that could turn into a brochure, a folder, agenda booklet, and name tags. They were looking for a clean and unique design. With that in mind, using their unique logo, we created bright and eye catching materials that reflected the whole purpose of the event.
Package design for a company called Nova Photos. The company wanted to elegantly show their product and the use of their product on the packaging. With the combination of text and image I successfully designed a package design that was not only informative but had a clean design. The "before and after" shot was strategically placed so that the user knows how the product can improve their images. This package design was displayed in Apple stores across the United States and Canada.
Toyota Material Handling was in need of a one page flyer design to expand their creative outreach. I created a modern and sophisticated design with many angles to reflect the versatility of the brand.
JWC Media is in charge of multiple magazines and online newspapers. Daily North Shore was the first to go digital. With news coverage in the Lake Forest/ Lake Bluff area, they were not only in need of a robust platform, they needed to elegantly display the stories and create smooth user pathways to have their material readily available. With a crisp typeface logo and a module display of stories, Daily North Shore now has a huge amount of people reading their material.
